Description:
Kisa (A135429) is a 3-year-old DSH who weighed 9 pounds on intake! 01/21/25 Kisa is back at the shelter yet again but this time she was surrendered without any behavior information. Kisa has been extremely affectionate with the care staff and will voice her oppinion if she is not getting enough pats. This sweet girl is looking for her furever home! She was seen by the shelter vet who cleared her for adoption but did mention that she may benefit from a dental cleaning in the next year or so. We encourage her next owner to follow up with their vet. If you are interested in meeting with Kisa, please let us know. 09/12/24 Kisa is back at the shelter, due to not getting along with the newborn baby in the home. Kisa is now searching for her perfect match and would do best in a home without smaller kiddos. Kisa was said to use her litterbox well, is outgoing, friendly and affectionate. She also tolerated the dogs in the home, but dislikes male cats. If you would like to meet with Kisa, please let us know!07/30/24 This beautiful little lady is Kisa! Little is known about Kisaâs past other than that she has had many litters of kittens and had previously lived in Hawaii. She has been spayed, so no more kittens, which we are sure she will be happy about! She has been a very sweet and affectionate girl towards the care staff at the shelter, but we noticed that she is not always fond of her kitty neighbors. The shelter setting can be scary for any of our furry friends but please keep that in mind if you do plan on introducing her to new potential friends. There is definitely an adjustment period as an animal settles into their new home and the rule of 3 is a great rule to reference! Kisa has used her litterbox fabulously and has had a healthy appetite. She does look for opportunities to bolt out of her kennel, so her next owner will want to be extra cautious with windows and doors in their home so she doesnât make her great escape! If you are interested in meeting Kisa, please let us know!
