Olaf (A137224) is a 1-year-old DSH who weighed 8.97 pounds on intake! 01/16/25 This loveable guy is Olaf! Olaf was surrendered to the shelter because he was not happy with the young children in the home and would scratch to try and get away with them. Olaf was said to be very sweet and affectionate towards the adults in the home. He would prefer a home without small children, who might stress him out. Olaf was said to be litterbox trained and has used it well. He has no experience living with other animals. If you do plan on introducing him to other animals, please ensure you are making appropriate introductions. Olaf arrived at the shelter in need of veterinary attention for his eyes. He was seen by the shelter vet and had entroprion surgery on both eyelids, giving him an offputting appearance for a brief moment while his stitches heal. This surgery corrects his eyelids from turning inward into his eyes. He will need to come back to the shelter in two weeks (2/5/25) for a sedated suture removal by the vet. Now that he has been cleared for adoption, he would love to find his new home! If you are interested in meeting Olaf, please let us know!
