BlackBerry arrived to the shelter as a stray after being caught in a live trap. It took him a couple days to warm up to us but once he did, he was super-duper friendly! BlackBerry is a quiet lover. He will head butt you when he is looking for attention but appreciates having space / time to himself too! BlackBerry isnât afraid to say hi, but he knows how to read the room; if he feels that things are getting too busy for him, he simply moves away to his own little space so he can relax! We do not know if BlackBerry has lived with other animals or children. Introductions to new animals should be taken slowly and owners should be prepared to give him time to adapt to his new home! We feel that little children may be too busy for him. BlackBerry may be a good candidate for a catio but remember, secure outdoor time is the safest! We can almost guarantee that he doesnât want to be caught in a live trap again.
