Description:
Approximate Date of Birth:1/29/2023 Description: Gallahad was born outdoors in a rural neighbourhood and caught by accident when trapping for another cat. He was scared and very defensive so it seemed that he would be better suited for TNR. After his alter, he escaped his recovery crate and made his home in the garage with his TNR companion. Together they would lounge around just out of reach, enjoying the easy life of ready meals and their own fan to keep the heat of summer at bay. Surprisingly, even using a litterbox immediately. Gallahad's choices in life changed drastically when he was introduced to a lickable treat! An independent spirit destined to resume his life outdoors once the weather cooled, his desire to be with people became proportional to his expectation of getting the treat. Rather than hiding in a corner, he was running to the door every time it opened, and highly put out if there was no treat in hand. As a result, he was brought indoors to test his tolerance. It turns out that he was a lamb in lion's clothing! Once his defenses come down, he is the sweetest, gentlest, and most docile boy with an affectionate side that is fast to let out a good purr. When comfortable with his surroundings, he is sure to be found snuggling on a fleece blanket on the bed with or without you there. Gallahad will make a great companion for that special person who will cherish this gentle-spirited big boy.
