Description:
Gioia (joy-uh) came to 4 Paws because her owner travelled too much and she thought she would get more attention by going to another family. She's shy and very nervous and gets upset in new environments so she will take some time to warm up to you. She’s 6 years old and has been in a home all her life, so transitioning to shelter life hasn’t been easy for her. She doesn’t like wet food; she will only eat dry food or the occasional crunchy cat treat. She’s very soft. She’s very good about using her cat scratching post. She likes to look out the window. She likes sleeping in closets, playing with wand toys, and playing with small fuzzy toys. She is not a lap cat and doesn’t like to be held but she likes to lay next to her owner on the couch.
