Tiger Lilly came to 4 Paws because her previous owner had too many cat that he needed to rehome. She has been around other cats so she would blend in well to a home with other cats (so long as they like her). She is very nervous and skittish in new environments and will hide for a little while at first. But with love, attention, and reassurance she will come out for pets and attention - just please give her some time to come out and become comfortable in a new home. When she's really nervous she won't eat her dry food, so we give her wet food which entices her to eat (she really loves her wet food!). New adopter must be willing to give her wet food to make sure she's eating and adjusting well to her new home. She's also curious and loves to explore but in a large space she gets overwhelmed and may hide for comfort. It's best to start her off in a bedroom or small room and let her come out on her own.
