Male Cat, Domestic Short Hair
Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (Short Coat)
Description:
Yoshi is an adorable, soft and fluffy, solid gray, older kitten with piercing green eyes, dilute tabby stripes and the cutest little ear tuft. He and his brother, Iggy were part of a TNR project but quickly let us know they wanted the good life inside, so they sport the jaunty ear tip of a community cat but have quickly learned the ropes and are now official house cats. Yoshi absolutely lives for love! He may be a little nervous at first, and will want to hide until he feels safe enough to engage, but once you have his trust he will approach his human for pets any chance he can get, flopping over with all four legs in the air for tummy scratches as soon as you come home or appear from a different room, or climbing into your lap for his favorite Churu or Greenies treats and even more pets, pushing his little face into your hand, telling you to never stop! Yoshi is quite vocal and will chirp to get your attention. He will follow his human all over the house like a puppy, and if you sit down on the bed, he can tell from anywhere in the house and will come running for cuddles! Yoshi’s other love is play, he is full of rambunctious kitten energy and loves to play, chasing the wand toy and playing soccer with his favorite pom-pom ball, or chasing and wrestling with his brother Iggy with whom he is strongly bonded. Yoshi is super chill and doesn’t need to be the center of attention. He is quite happy watching the birds at the feeder, snoozing on the sunny window perch or caving in his safe den. He gets along well with all of the resident cats in his foster home, but his brother Iggy is his favorite pal and so he would love to be adopted with Iggy . Because he is still learning to trust humans who aren’t his foster mom, Yoshi would do well with older, gentle children who can respect his boundaries, and a cat savvy adopter who has the time and patience to build a trusting relationship with him. He would do best in a predictable, low key home environment with plenty of enrichment, and an adopter who understands that he will need a kitten proofed “base camp” & some hiding spots at first until he feels confident enough to have the run of the house. Dogs are untested. Yoshi’s estimated date of birth is mid-April, 2024. Kitty Bio #980EP-Yo.
