Description:

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW. IT WILL ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS. If you still have questions after, we are happy to respond through email. It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! SKY and her siblings (SAWYER & STUART) were saved by an independent rescuer. They came from a mom at a colony in the area South Los Angeles, California. Once the kittens were stable, the rescuer reached out to us. And now they are with our rescue. Meet SKY, a young feline with a heart full of curiosity. Her personality is a delightful blend of goofy and mellow, making every moment spent with her a joy. SKY's intelligence shines through in her playful antics, as she effortlessly turns everyday objects into toys. She's energetic, always ready for a game of chase, and brave, unafraid to explore new territories. But, SKY also has a shy side. She can be a bit timid and skittish, yet this only adds to her charm. SKY's unique combination of traits makes her a delightful companion. Adopt SKY and bring home not just a pet, but a friend who will fill your days with laughter and love. SKY is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / RUSSIAN BLUE MIX. She is about 1 year and 5 months old. She is good with cats and is non-reactive to dogs. She has never been around children. SKY is currently at our rescue in Hemet, California. ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Go to WORKINWHISKERS.COM. Click ADOPT 2. Fill Out Online Form 3. Submit Online Application 4. Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 5 pm - 8 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and Sunday 4 pm - 7 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3 hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability. ******************* If you call the PETSMART location, please ask them to physically check the cattery door for the current week's VISITING HOURS. ****************** The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below. PETSMART in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue in Hemet, California off Florida Avenue in Palm Desert, California off Monterey Avenue The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done.. Gas donations always appreciated! ************* Please no calls to the rescue. No one available to take calls. ************* If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient. SKY is ALREADY fully vetted. The adoption fee of $250 covers: Spay FVRCP shots RABIES shot FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative) Drontal Dewormer Stronghold Flea Control Microchip We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS. If for some unfortunate reason you missed out on the kitten/cat you emailed about...I'm sure that we could help you with another rescue baby! Just ask! If you have any questions not covered here, please feel free to email us: [email protected]
