It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. TK STRAND (named after a character in 911 LONE STAR), and his 3 siblings (OWEN STRAND - MATEO CHAVEZ - MARJAN MARWANI) were rescued from a backyard in Perris, California. Rescue mama was called by the nice lady that saved them from the dangers of the outdoors. We picked them up and will be helping the lady fix the mama cat. Now they are all ready for their FUREVER home. Meet TK STRAND, a lively four-month-old orange tabby from Perris, California, whose playful energy and sweet, curious nature are sure to brighten up any home. TK STRAND is the kind of kitten who can turn anything into an adventure! His day revolves around exploring every nook and cranny, chasing shadows, and pouncing on the smallest of toys with delightful precision. This little ball of energy loves to race around, keeping his surroundings lively, and he's always eager to engage in a fun game with his humans. His curiosity knows no bounds, so you’ll often find him perched in a window, watching the world go by with wide, inquisitive eyes. When TK STRAND's not in explorer mode, he's a master of affection. He adores cuddling up after a long day of play, purring contentedly in your lap, and making sure you know just how much he appreciates your company. He’s incredibly loving and thrives on gentle pets, chin scratches, and cozy snuggle sessions. His fur, a radiant shade of orange, feels like soft velvet, making those cuddle moments even more irresistible. He is about 4 months old and is good with cats. He has never been around young children or dogs. *******************As stated on our application, we will not do adoptions of kittens under 8 months to a home with no other YOUNG cat in the current home. We will do adoptions of teenagers over 8 months or adults as single cats in their new home. Please make sure to read the ad. Fill Out Online Form 3. Submit Online Application 4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview 5. Will be notified of Approved Application 6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty 8. Sign Adoption Contract 9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH) 10. Take the Kitty Home ********* MAY CONSIDER OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS NEAR CALIFORNIA, BUT BE AWARE THAT WE WILL NOT SHIP. ADOPTER WILL NEED TO PICK UP********** SEPTEMBER 2024: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees. Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 5 pm - 8 pm MONDAY thru SATURDAY and 4 pm to 7 pm on Sunday. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours. ******************* If you call the PETSMART location, please ask them to physically check the cattery door for the current week's VISITING HOURS. ****************** The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below. PETSMART in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue in Hemet, California off Florida Avenue in Palm Desert, California off Monterey Avenue or any PETSMART near you! The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done.. Gas donations always appreciated! ************* Please no calls to the rescue. No one available to take calls. ************* If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient. TK STRAND is ALREADY fully vetted. The adoption fee of $200 covers: Neuter FVRCP shots RABIES shot FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative) Drontal Dewormer Stronghold Flea Control Microchip We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens.
