Description:
Hoka and his best friend Sketchers originally came to the lounge when they were very young. They were adopted together because Hoka was OBSESSED with Sketchers. They play together for hours, cuddle together, eat together - there isn't anything they don't do together. Unfortunately both were returned when their guardian moved. They were pretty scared the first few days, but now that they are comfortable, they are really started to shine. This kitty has a common parasites called Tritrichomonas foetus, or T. foetus, in their belly that causes loose stool. Fortunately, it is often considered more of an inconvenience than a medical emergency. Though medical treatment tends to be unsuccessful, it can resolve on its own. In the meantime, they should not be with other kitties to prevent its spread (it can't spread to people!). Being a carrier doesn't impact their health or life, but it may make some stinky poops!
