Missy is an independent soul who takes time to soften up, but with gentle love and a little space, she’ll reward you with her unique charm. She’s not big on being held—though she tolerates pets and enjoys them, she’s never fully relaxed in someone’s arms and may protest if startled. Instead, Missy prefers to show affection on her terms: rubbing against your legs, following you around the house, or hopping onto the bed to hang out in the evenings. She’ll stretch out, roll around adorably, and even chit-chat a bit when she’s feeling cozy. Missy might thrive best as an only cat, though she could get along with a friendly, social feline companion—she’s bonded with one of her current housemates and loves snuggling under the bed with them. Cats with too much “catitude,” however, tend to make her shy away. She’s got her quirks: string toys and circular motion toys spook her, but she’s wild about catnip, round toys, and fuzzy ones.
