Description:

Hi! My name is Miss Kitty! I was rescued from Stanislaus Shelter in Modesto. Sadly, I ended up in the shelter because my person died. My foster family says that I am the sweetest soul you’ll ever have the pleasure of meeting! My kind, expressive eyes seem to see right into your heart! I have a way of making everyone feel at ease. My warm purrsonality is as comforting as my soft, fluffy fur — whether I'm gently curling up in your lap for a cuddle or playfully swatting at a felt string toy, I radiate a calm and loving energy that makes me the perfect companion. My playful spirit is infectious but beyond my playful nature, I have a deeply nurturing side as I'm always there to offer quiet support and affection when you need it most. My gentle purring and soft nuzzles are a reminder that the world can be full of warmth and kindness. With me around, your days are sure to be filled with love and the kind of quiet joy that only a cat with such a big heart can bring. Whether it’s a playful moment or a peaceful nap, I will always be by your side, ready to make your world a little brighter. Now that you know how ameowzing I am, I want to let you know that I will need someone to help me continue to get to a healthy weight. I’ve already lost some weight in foster but I have a ways to go. I’m currently weighing in at about 21 pounds, but really need to get to probably around 12-14 pounds. I know that it may take a while, but I'm certainly worth it. I’m looking for a family committed to meal-feeding me and ensuring I get the proper amount of daily calories to safely lose weight. I am currently transitioning from eating dry food to wet food to help with my weight loss. You see, I was free-fed before and clearly it hasn't been good for my figure. I’m really enjoying being fed wet food and feeling so much better as I continue to trim down. If you can commit to helping me get to a healthy weight, I purromise to love you forever. I truly get along with everyone I meet. I love humans and other cats as well so I can be adopted as your one and only or with a kitty furiend. I’m looking forward to settling into my forever home and sharing all of my love with my new family. Could that be with you?
