Hi! My name is Poe! I was rescued at ACT Spay/Neuter Clinic in Stockton, CA. I’m an adorable, affectionate, fun, and overall well-rounded kitty. From the moment I arrived at my foster home, I was rubbing up against my foster pawrents legs and purring up a storm. What can I say? I’m a loving kitty! Circling around you, rubbing up against you, and purring when you're nearby are my signature moves when I’m first getting to know you but it can take me some time to become comfortable receiving lots of pets. I might give a love nibble or politely bat your hand to let you know I’m not ready quite yet. After only a week or two at my current foster home, I was already curling up on my foster dad’s lap and making lots of biscuits. In the evenings, my favorite thing to do is curl up right next to you, especially while watching a good TV show. I’ll cuddle up by you and let my purr motor roar. When it’s time for bed, I’ll happily join you because I sure do love curling up next to my humans when it’s time to relax and sleep. I’m a very quiet kitty, so I won’t make a peep at night! I’m also a playful boy and I have lots of fun getting my energy out by running around and batting mousie toys around the room. Although I’m only 1.5 years old, I’m very easy-going and am not overly needy. As a matter of fact, I’m often happy doing my own thing, but will gladly let you join in on my fun during playtime. I’m looking for a family who will respect my pace when it comes to receiving lots of hands-on attention from you. But don’t worry, I’ll reward you with cuddles, purrs, and entertaining play.
