Ahoy! I’m Popeye the cat! I was rescued at ACT Spay/Neuter Clinic in Stockton, CA. I’m a confident, social, playful, and affectionate cat. I have a very sweet and soft meow but I’m not known as a chatty cat. Occasionally I’ll meow for attention but if you’re busy, I understand, and I’ll just find a nice spot where I can nap close to you so I’m conveniently within reach when you finish what you’re doing. I settled in nicely when I arrived in my foster home. I explored my new space not only because I was curious, but also because knowing where cozy spots are is very important because I sure do love to snuggle! The bed and the couch are my favorites because that’s usually where you’ll be when you’re relaxing or sleeping. I’m not only always ready for snuggling, I’m also always ready for playing! My favorite toys are anything that has strings I can try to catch. There’s a resident kitty here who I’m trying to befuriend but she doesn’t seem interested in me. I guess her furiend list is full. I do get along with other cats so I can be your kitty’s furiend, or I can be your one and only kitty as long as you give me lots of love.
