Description:

Hi! I'm Vivianne! I was rescued at ACT Spay/Neuter Clinic in Stockton, CA. I ended up at the shelter after my previous human passed away. As you can imagine, I was very sad and scared when I suddenly lost not only my family but also my home where I had been for a long time. I’m a beautiful, gentle, calm, and loving mature kitty with the cutest tiny meows. I’m initially shy but I’ve been through some big changes recently. I felt safe and secure in my previous home for many years so feeling cautious in a new home is understandable don’t you think? I stayed under the dresser in my foster home for the first couple of nights so I could observe from a safe place, but I didn’t stay under the dresser the entire time. Human interaction and affection are important to me so I did venture out now and then to say hello to my foster human and give her some sweet head bumps. Taking it easy is the key to my happiness. I love snoozing in my cat bed, lying on the couch, being brushed, relaxing on my cat tree, and sitting by the window. I’m not completely sedentary… I do engage in some exercises like plopping down and rolling around on the floor... hehe. And if there’s a toy nearby, you won’t find me chasing it around the house but I will rub my head against it. I know, I’m silly and cute. I’m looking for a quiet home with a patient family who understands I’ll need some extra time to fully open up. I just need some comfort and reassurance to show me I’m still loved! You can see more of me in my foster home here @velvetyvivianne.
