Meet Estrella, the 2 year old dilute female calico. Estrella is a shy girl who is looking for an adoptive home where she can blossom. The Shelter is really not cutting it for this star of a calico and sheâd love to shy in a cat-savvy adoptive home. Estrella lived in her previous home since being a kitten. She was indoors only and would prefer to be the only pet in the home as she did not get along with some cats and a dog she lived with previously. Her previous guardian described as sweet but shy with new people. She used the litterbox reliably provided it was kept clean (totally understandable â who likes a dirty bathroom?!). In her previous home, Estrella enjoyed playing with wand style toys and toys with feathers. Meow Mix treats were big on the list of loves as well. If you are a cat savvy adopter looking for a kitty to complete your home, come meet Estrella today!Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
