Male Cat, Domestic Short Hair
Domestic Short Hair (Medium Coat)
Description:
Meet Huxley, the adorable white and brown tabby boy. Huxley originally came to the Shelter as a stray after being found outside a home in Watsonville. He is a social guy that is looking for a cat-savvy adopter to help manage some overstimulation. Overstimulation is fairly common in cats and the key to preventing it is careful observation of cat body language throughout your interactions with a kitty. With a cat-savvy adopter as well as mental/physical stimulation â Huxley will be a fun companion. With Huxley outdoors previously, a home with access to the outdoors may be a fit after a period of acclimation, especially supervised at first. We do not have any history of Huxley in a home with other animals. He used the litterbox reliably in his previous home. Now through February 15th, we are hosting âAdopt Your Valentineâ where adoption fees are reduced to $50. The adoption fee includes all age appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter and microchips. Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
