Male Cat, Domestic Short Hair
Domestic Short Hair (Medium Coat)
Description:
Meet Mito, the brown tabby boy. Mito came into the Shelter because the previous guardian was moving and were unable to continue caring for him. Mito came in with his âsisterâ Kitty Cat but could be adopted separately. In his previous home, Mito interacted with men, women and children under 12 years old. His favorite activity was described as eating⦠so much so that he will try to steal peopleâs food from them. Future adopters are recommended to watch their food if left out on counters and/or easily accessed places!Mito enjoys playing with wand-style toys and reliably used his litterbox in his previous home. Mito has been around other dogs and cats and, with a slow, thoughtful introduction, may do well in a home with one (or two!). As Mito has experience outdoors, a home with indoor/outdoor access may be a fit after a period of acclimation. Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
