Meet Rosie! This sweet gal is looking for an adopter to be her BFF. She has lived in a home with a family, their 12 and 15 year old children, and dog savvy large breed dog. She preferred the company of adults and older children. Young whippersnappers are a bit too much for this gal. Rosie warmed up to the cat-savvy dog in the home and even rubbed up against the pup after her period of acclimation. A home with a cat-savvy dog may be a fit provided there is a slow, thoughtful introduction to set both parties up for success. Rosieâs favorite things are: sleeping right next to her people, treats, and getting scritches from her people. She is not a fan of loud noises, fast movement or being picked up.
