Please contact Kristin ([email protected]) for more information about this pet. Buster (orange tabby) is Mr. Social! He's friendly, curious, smart, and lovable! Buster's owner passed away on July 27, and he was put outside by neighbors who were worried that the house was too hot. He lived outdoors for 3 weeks with 2 other cats from the same home until ARR was able to rescue them and place them in a foster home. When we took Buster to the vet for his exam and vaccination updates, he explored the room thoroughly - reading the signs, checking out the computer keyboard (he tried to change his weight - no cheating allowed!), and allowed the vet to do whatever she wanted with no protests. He's simply an amazingly well adjusted cat. Buster would love a home where he can explore, get lots of playtime, and salmon treats! Lulu (calico) is a sassy sweet girl whose owner, an elderly lady, passed away on July 27. Neighbors put her outside along with the 2 cats she lived with because the house was too hot for them to stay indoors. The cats were fed by the neighbors, and when ARR learned of their situation, we were able to rescue them and bring them into a foster home. When we took her to the vet for her exam, she made herself right at home, exploring the room and its contents and looking at the view outside the window! Lulu is friendly, social, and a bit bossy towards the other 2 cats who bow down to her highness. She loves attention, petting, and salmon treats! This beautiful girl would love to find a home where she is put on the pedestal she deserves! Buster + Lulu are being fostered in Aurora. Born August 2023. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives! $300 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes. These "guardian kittens" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes.
