Description:
Please contact Kristin ([email protected]) for more information about this pet. Meet Holly - or is she actually Salem from Sabrina the Teenage Witch? No, she's definitely Holly, she has a white spot on her chest. ;) Holly, born in May 2024, came to ARR as a feral kitten and has worked so hard at becoming a social girl! Currently, she enjoys being pet when she's eating treats and tolerates it when she's in a safe spot like a comfy bed. She will happily hang out near you, especially if it means she gets to be with other cats and/or play with toys. With continued practice, we are sure that she will be affectionate and demand pets! Currently, Holly loves Churu treats, playing, cuddling with other cats, playing, and also... playing. She is silly and loves wand toys or anything she can throw in the air. She would probably be fine with a calm dog after a proper introduction, and she would be fine with older children who understand that she will be nervous at first. Holly would love to go to a home with another cat and would be an excellent companion kitty for a cat who needs a friend. Otherwise, she would like to be adopted with another ARR kitty, perhaps her brother Parker. Here are some videos where you can see how social Holly has become and how much she loves toys. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/3g3KfiMh1MA https://www.youtube.com/shorts/egUULEjfpAY https://www.youtube.com/shorts/1iKInHVT9oM Holly is being fostered in Conifer, CO. Foster: BS Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives! $300 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes. These "guardian kittens" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes. These "guardian cats" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for kittens (6 months & under) $125 for cats (older than 6 months) $75 for senior cats (8 years or older) If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email [email protected] for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time. PLEASE NOTE: The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter. Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets. Here is some interesting info on breed identification: https://arrcolorado.org/category/puppy-dog-tips/ Our adoption process is: 1. Fill out our Adoption Application online. We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet. 2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting. Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
