Female Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair / Tabby (Short Coat)

Description:

Please contact Kristin ([email protected]) for more information about this pet. Teeny tiny Tracey! This little perma-kitten (1-2 years old, full grown, and around 5 lbs.) was living on a farm in eastern Colorado but made it clear that she wanted a safe, indoor home. Tracey is an absolute sweetheart who has a huge purr and loves to get pets. (See videos!) https://youtube.com/shorts/OhRDvrJYtdE?feature=share https://youtube.com/shorts/LS3nQbcYT8o She is still a tiny bit nervous and might hiss at you when you approach her, but the minute you pet her, she's all love. Tracey would be fine with calm children and is good with other cats. She can be dog tested if wanted. Tracey came to her foster mom with a HORRIBLE mouth full of infection. She had juvenile stomatitis, an autoimmune condition where the immune system attacks bacteria on the teeth. The cure for this is to remove the teeth, so all Tracey has left is her canines and incisors (front teeth). But she feels SO MUCH BETTER and eats like a champ, so this is not a concern. Really, it just means you won't have to spend money on expensive dental procedures in the future ;) Foster: BS Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives! $300 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes. These "guardian kittens" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes. These "guardian cats" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for kittens (6 months & under) $125 for cats (older than 6 months) $75 for senior cats (8 years or older) If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email [email protected] for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time.PLEASE NOTE: The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter. Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets. Here is some interesting info on breed identification: https://arrcolorado.org/category/puppy-dog-tips/ Our adoption process is: 1. Fill out our Adoption Application online. We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet. 2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting. Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
