Kid-Friendly!! Please meet Super Mom Calypso! As you have read, this young mama had quite a large family to care for, and she did not want any help from her foster family! Calypso is about 1-2 years old. Of her 10 kittens, 8 have found their forever homes already, and she is ready to find hers. A note from her foster mom: "She is absolutely wonderful with kids all ages. Headbutts and purring, even while actively nursing her kittens. She never crossed paths with Baker (FCID# 06/25/2024 - 51, also at Brandywine PS) before her babies were born. Baker was at Brookhaven PS when we brought her inside, and she remained isolated while Baker was free-roaming in the rest of the house. I wish we had an opportunity to test her with our other pets (cats and dogs) for longer, so we could try to see if we could get her acclimated to sharing a house. She has handled every other situation with resilience, so I have a lot of confidence that given understanding and patience, she would be able to live with other cats and dogs without any hissing."
