Female Cat, Tabby

Tabby / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

Please contact and Bob for more information about this pet.You can apply for Sally at http://www.ladyluckanimalrescue.org under the "Adopt/Foster" Tab Sally is an adorable female brown Tabby kitty, born approximately May 2, 2022. Sally and her brother Harry were found all alone in a driveway at a trailer park, where lots of cats roam. They were there all day, almost like they were dumped. As we drove by, we asked the owners of the home if we could rescue them, and they said yes as they weren't sure where they came from and were afraid of running them over. Sally is a super soft kitten. She is a little shyer than her brother but once she decides that you are her person she is all over you and will lay on your chest for pets. She loves to give kitty kisses, lots and lots or them. She is a super sweet girl. She gets along with other cats. In 2025 Sally was returned to the rescue through no fault of her own. We noticed at the Cat Cafe that Sally seemed to have some trouble seeing so we had her checked out by an Opthalmologist. She was diagnosed with genetic progressive retinal atrophy which is rare in cats. She could see when she was born but her sight has deteriorated. Right now, she can see shapes and figures, but she will eventually be totally blind. In addition, she seems to be deaf (also probably genetic.) Sally is on an eye vitamin that the vet said could slow (but not stop) her loss of sight. Sally should do fine in a quiet home where the furniture is not moved and she is prevented from going into areas of the home that have dangerous obstacles. Sally is spayed, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested negative, fecal tested negative, dewormed, and vaccinated (including rabies). She is litter box trained. Sally is located at the Good Luck Cat Cafe (901 Progresso Drive, #202, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304). For more information contact [email protected] or text 754-366-3669. You can apply at ladyluckanimalrescue.org under the "Adopt/Foster" Tab
