Female Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

Maeve was rescued when she was found as a stray kitten in someone's backyard. They were evacuating for Hurricane Milton and could not take her with them. Especially a sick lil thing like Maeve. So they brought her in temporarily (the day before they had to evacuate) and reached out for rescue help on fb. Maeve had mange, an upper respiratory, fleas and was in poor body condition. Parasites and the elements will do that. It took several weeks, but being indoors free of the hot and wet environment and TLC turned Maeve into a thriving kitten! Maeve's found location is known for strays and other community cats. Sadly she was most likely finding some food, but not spayed or given any medical care. She was friendly but cautious. Well it didn't take long before Maeve knew what love was and is a little lovebug herself! She will practically smother you as she likes to lay on your chest or legs when you are reclining. Maeve plays rough and is a toe biter! So don't move your feet when you are under the covers! Maeve is independent and selective on other cats and kittens she befriends. Maeve is spayed, microchipped, tested negative for felv/fiv, utd on vaccines and deworming If you are interested in Maeve, contact Mary for questions and an application: [email protected].
