Description:
We personally thank you for your interest in adopting one or more of our wonderful cats or kittens! We have invested a lot of our time, energy and resources to offer a second chance to these rescued kitties. Many have been through situations already and our goal is to prevent that from happening again. We are committed to seeing our cats through, as we have poured our hearts into them, and take our adoptions seriously, even after they leave our care. We encourage an ongoing relationship with our adopters, and look for people that are easy to work with. If at any time in the cat’s life you are unable to keep him or her, you are required to return the cat(s) to us. We don’t stop caring once the kitties leave! We make every effort that each adoption be successful. All adopters must complete an application. You must be at least 18 years old to fill out an application. Please print clearly and considerately (for paper applicants). Please fill it out with complete honesty, – there is no “right” or “wrong” answer. We have the right to refuse an adoption application for any reason without recourse if we feel that we need to gather more info, or for whatever concerns the well being of the kitties applied for. If applications are incomplete, we can delay or deny an adoption. Please give us a few days time to process your application and to get back with you, respectfully! Very sweet and playful and peculiar little guy! He loves belly rubs, and is cuddly. Please give him time to adjust, as he'll be shy at first. Gets along with other cats. He has a cute chatter when he gets back scratches - he's still very much a kitten baby. He loves to play, catnip, catnip bubbles, feather wand toys and laser lights. He can be a little rough in playing, he just hasn't had the luxury of learning as most kittens do, but can be worked out with time and ease. Mikey is looking for a caring and safe home, and maybe with a kitty friend. His vet exam went well - but we were advised that he needs some dental care. Normally, we will wait to get that done before putting him out for adoption, however, we feel it is not fair to leave him waiting and getting very little attention, when he can still go to a new home and learn his new home and begin his new journey. We are still in progress with setting up and exam and finding out what all he needs in order to complete any dental care he needs -(work schedules make it tough to establish these appointments - sometimes taking days off work - with an owner, it may help get these things done - perhaps). Another words, we are not forgoing the care, we just don't want him stuck waiting knowing that it can take a little time to get done.If interested, please fill out an application to get started - Transport is provided within reason. If you have any trouble filling out the application (best on laptop or PC), then we offer a fillable PDF on www.AllThingsKittyBoutique.com, under helping cats, adoptable kitties, you'll find one there at the bottom of the page. Please contact us if you have any questions or any issues with applications! Thank you! Each cat adoption includes vet work; Spay or Neuter, Appropriate Vaccines, Microchip (for most cats), FIV/FeLV Test, basic parasite treatments like deworming and ear checks (for mites), and any other potential medical need at the time he or she is in our care. Courtesy listings or cats that are not in our immediate care, may not have all the listed services and can be discussed at the time of an interview. We also include an adoption goodie bag with Premium Cat Food, canned cat food, toys, feather toys or string toys, laser light, adoption folder with vet history, healthy pet care and product brochure with subscription offered, any available coupons, and as much information as needed to help you with your new kitty! Similarly, cats that are courtesy listings or not in our direct care, may not come with these incentives, or may have other belongings to go with them, which can be discussed during the interview stage. Adoption Fees: An adoption fee or donation is used to help recover the medical expenses for each of our cats, and for their needs while in our care. The adoption fees vary depending on popularity, adoptability and other factors we take into consideration. Our fees range from "any donation" - to 40 or 60 or so, for adults or over 1 year. Average is 60 for teens, and kittens are 75 - 100 or so, depending on medical costs. All fees are potentially flexible but we tend to consider it to be a reflection of the adopter's value in our kitties and their state of mind.
