Male Cat, Tuxedo

Tuxedo (Short Coat)

Description:

Dixie Cat isn’t just “Whistling Dixie” during his phot shoot. He is REALLY singing to get a family to notice him! This little cutie and his adorable mustache would make a great addition to just about any family! He’s friendly and gets along well with the other cats. He’s also one of the sweetest babies we have! He loves to play, but the moment he sees an available lap he’s “all in”! Dixie Cat has a pretty cool brother named Duncan. Update 2/2022 Sadly Dixie Cat and Duncan have had a BIG change in their lives. Their daddy travels all the time for work and their mommy suddenly passed away. With their daddy unable to care for them without his wife they have found their way back to rescue and looking for a new home again. Understandably, they are very traumatized by all the changes. Dixie Cat is hiding but still very friendly and Duncan is trying to be a bit “tough” to protect himself because he can’t figure out what is happening in his life. These boys have been VERY loved and have always been together. We would like to see them stay together. They were noted to be friendly and very happy in their home and we are assuming that the hiding and grumbly are their way of trying to cope with the loss of everything they knew and loved. Kitten pictures were left up to get them listed again with updated pictures coming soon. Duncan is a STUNNING tabby and Dixie Cat is just as cute as he always was but is on the rather “plump” side now. Dixie Cat asked that we make his forever family PROMISE not to laugh (too hard at least) when they hear him meow. Seriously. How can such a big cat make such a tiny goofy noise? The boys have lived with a dog before. Dixie Cat is coming around much more quickly than Dunkan (who is still feeling pretty afraid but seems to respond better to men) and has expressed interest in many of the dogs passing by at Petsmart. He gets along very well with the other cats and is very playful. The boys love to play together (usually started by Dixie in full “butt wiggle” mode launching at his brother).
