Please contact Lauren ([email protected]) for more information about this pet.Sweet Athena has lived a hard life thus far. She was rescued by a volunteer who feeds feral cats. It was clear Athena was not feral. She is very loving and affectionate. She has lost the vision in her left eye from an old injury. It does not appear to bother her. She arrived all beaten up and scabby, fur missing, and has blossomed into a beautiful lush and plush girl. Her fur is incredibly soft. She is understandably a little reserved at first but absolutely loves to be petted and will purr until she drools. She will reach out and try to pull your hand back so you don't stop petting her. She is looking for a safe and loving place to live out her days. She has a playful side in her still and is just an adorable sweet girl. She has coexisted peacefully with the kittens in her foster home although she is not as enthusiastic about the other adults. She might really enjoy being the only fur baby or coexist with another mellow cat. She would likely do very well with older children.
