Hey! I'm Kohl, and I’m a brown tabby boy who is about 2 years old. I am not what you would call a “happy camper” here at the shelter. In fact, I’m positively grouchy, but you would be too if you were in my shoes. I might hiss or swipe at you, so I need someone who will go easy and slowly with me. My furever family will need to be patient with me and make sure I have boxes and other safe hiding spots until I feel comfortable and safe. I can definitely be a good boy, but I've been through so much that it takes time for me to learn to trust people. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
