Hey, I'm Markos. I'm a grey and white boy kitty, and I'm about one year old. I am pretty friendly from behind the bars of my cage, though I might be a bit skittish if you actually open my cage up and try to pet me. I can't help it; it's just pretty overwhelming here at the shelter, and I'm in the hall where I hear the dogs barking. I don't know if I like dogs or not, but I don't love their barking here. I'm a curious guy though, and I do like to play with toys if you bring me some to play with! Markos is currently available for adoption at Fur Babies Cat Cafe in Carrollton. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
