Please adopt our wonderful “puppy” cat. Boris is an extremely friendly, docile, easy-going adult male cat. He is neutered. He is smart and well behaved. He is litter box trained, however he prefers to go outside and do his business. He can go 12 hours without going outside, not using his box. He is a very large cat, he weighs about 24 pounds, and he’s about 2 feet long. He would be perfect, for empty-nesters, RV’ers, 1st time pet owner. He would be great company for an older person, he is extremely low maintenance and in great physical health. Boris is very adaptable to travel. He used to take 9 hour drives at least a dozen times a year. Boris is absolutely fine with travel (vehicle and flying). In the 8 years we would drive him around the country, mainly just stayed on the truck console between front seats and whentraveling he rarely eats or needs to use the bathroom, if ever. In Ireland, He used a leash he would liked to be ridden around in his pet stroller. He is fine in a pet carrier. Boris is best suited for a home without other pets. He does not necessarily like to be picked up, he likes to sit next to you not on you. He does like to hang out with you. He will be in the same space that you were in, if you’re outside he’ll hang out with you outside, if you’re inside he’ll be with you inside, if you want him to sleep at the foot of the bed he’ll do that too. He’s not a get in your face to face cat. Boris does not scratch furniture. He has never sprayed. He rarely meows. He is extremely well behaved. He was abandoned in our neighborhood, we adopted him when he was just one years old, he is now nine years old. We recently moved to Ireland for six months every year, and we can no longer take him with us. We are extremely distraught about giving him up, as he is a wonderful part of our daily life. Lastly, we would be open to somebody house sitting him in their home for six months while we are gone. We will drive anywhere to deliver him. Thank you for reading.
