Remy and his brother came to us through adoption, with Remy joining our family at the age of 3 (and is now 6) to provide companionship for our other cat. Unfortunately, Remy's arrival unintentionally triggered anxiety in our first cat, leading to stress-related behaviors like marking. Remy himself is a sweet cat who consistently uses his litter box. However, he struggles with separation anxiety, which causes him to vocalize and scratch. We've tried various approaches to ease his anxiety and provide a secure environment, including pheromone diffusers, but the scratching persists. Sadly, due to unforeseen circumstances, we're no longer able to provide the care that Remy and his brother need and deserve.
