Male Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair (Short Coat)

Description:

If you're working for home or just playing it safe by practicing social distancing, now is a perfect time to bring a new furry family member into the fold. Email us any questions about any cats we have and we will be happy to provide any additional information you may need. If you are approved for adoption, we are now doing curbside adoptions in order to minimize contact.Pistachio will be 5 years old as of April, 2025. He and his sibling, Acorn, were adopted at 4 months old and are a bonded pair looking for a home together. They were returned to us recently after their adopting father suffered an illness. They are scared, yet very sweet without a bit of aggression despite all the changes. We think that they will make a perfect addition to any home that can provide them a segregated space so their hearts can heal and they can become brave again. Adopt them today. Approved applications will be contacted with 48 hours of receipt of the app. All of our cats have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, microchipped, and tested for FIV/FeLV. Our adoption fee structure is as follows: $75 - Kittens/Young (Up to 1 year) $50 - Adult (1 Year +) $25 - Senior (7 Years +) $0 - FIV + There is an additional $25 fee for cats considered to be an "Exotic" (Siamese, Persian, etc...) If you are a senior (65 years or older) you can adopt any of our senior cats (7 years or older) for only $10! Please mention this special when applying. We also have a kitten special - adopt 2 available kittens (1 year & under) for $125 While we try to keep our animal listings up-to-date online, sometimes the age range may be labelled incorrectly. Please don't hesitate to contact us for the most up-to-date information on a particular cat. Our cats are shown by appointment - we are a foster based rescue and so we don't have a location with set hours. If you are interested in adopting or would like to meet our cats, please fill out our adoption application online at www.safehousepets.org/info/adoption and a volunteer will contact you promptly.
