If you see a pet here, they are still available for adoption and you should apply through our adoption application on our website at https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/ Dallas is one of a large group of amazing cats that came from a shelter in rural Indiana (Auto, Dallas, Dusty, Eedy, James, Magdalene, Mary Ann, Silas, Uma and Una). The entire group is full of super friendly, amazing cats. They all love to be held, crave lots of pets and attention and love to play. Dallas is a big teddy bear and loves to roll onto his back so that he can get his belly rubbed. He can hardly wait to get pets and will rub all over your legs, letting you know how happy he is to see you. His favorite place to nap is on one of the pet-friendly heating pads that he shares with his friends. He also loves a nice warm lap that he can curl up in. Dallas would love to be adopted with one of the buddies that came here with him. They all practically grew up together and really enjoy each other's company. If a single cat is what you're looking for, he fits that bill too. He gets along well with cats and kids of any age. He would probably do just fine with a gentle dog too, given a proper introduction. As long as he gets lots of love and affection, he'll do great in any home. Dallas is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, and litter box trained. His adoption fee is $135.
