Female Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair (Short Coat)

Description:

***Mari had bladder stones when she arrived. Luckily, they resolved with only a diet change without surgery. Mari will need to be on Royal Canin Urinary wet and dry food for the remainder of her life to help prevent the recurrence of bladder stones.***My name is Mari and I am a tortie & white domestic shorthair. I am a spayed female and I am 3 years old. I am at the shelter because I was found as a stray on 01/17/2025. I am a good kitty who uses the litterbox! I am a medium energy cat and I can live with an owner with no prior pet owning experience. I do not have a history of trying to escape the home, but the shelter staff always recommends owners be mindful that I do not accidentally sneak out on their way out the door. I can be good with men, women, and children. I can be good with other cats, and I can be good with dogs. All cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, and cats over 6 months of age are tested for heartworms. They are also tested for intestinal parasites and receive routine dewormings. Cats are vaccinated against distemper and rabies, receive a flea preventative, are spayed/neutered before adoption, and have a microchip. Adoption fees include the initial automated registration of the microchip at the time of adoption.
