Please contact Lauren to inquire about Sassy - [email protected] We are seeking the purrfect fit for our sassy girl! Sassy has not had it easy in her (estimated) 3 - 4 years of life. Early on she was deemed unadoptable after a history of getting beat up by other animals, and what we assume as lack of trying by humans. She was then living it up in a barn home, doing all the farm cat things. That barn home came to an end due to no fault of their own, which lead her to her next chapter, garage cat. While she liked this life, the garage was then needed to foster dogs who at the time, we did not know had a severe prey drive. So now she is living the house cat life and to our surprise, seems to enjoy it! Sassy loves perching in her cat tree, playing with her laser toy, and watching tv with her person. Sassy is by no means a cuddler or overly affectionate cat, but she does like to come up for pets and have some company. If you have read this far and are still with us, you should know; her name is very fitting. Sass has some attitude which will require an adopter who is patient and understanding. It has taken Sass 6+ months to allow her foster mom to pet her below her neck due to her past life of getting beat up. Sometimes she doesn’t want to be pet and will certainly let you know. With all this aside, Sassy deserves to have a home of her very own. This will need to be a cat only home.. she may be ok with sharing a home with a dog that will leave her alone and baby gates to allow safe spaces. She is UTD on all vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and kitty disease free. Would you consider opening up your heart and home to this deserving girl?? ***Sassy is not part of the FRA program.
