Name: Ducky Sex: Female Estimated Age: About 4 months old (as of 2/14/25) Best Guess for Breed: Domestic Short Hair Mix Weight: About 3-4 pounds Good With: People, dogs, and other cats and kittens! Story: Ducky is an adorable Domestic Short Hair Mix cat, who came to us from a shelter in North Carolina. We are just not sure how she ended up in there, but we are so happy to have her with us now in a foster home! Ducky is a happy and sweet young cat. She spends her days playing with her foster family and chasing all the fun toys they have. When she’s done it’s nap time or cuddling with her humans! What my foster says: Ducky is an absolutely adorable and playful little orange menace. She loves playing with all types of toys and rough housing with her sister. When she isn't playing, she loves attention from people and sitting on keyboards. Ducky is a very confident kitty! Please note that all kittens under the age of four months old must be adopted to a home with an already existing young cat, or be adopted as a pair (preferably with a sibling!). This covers the cost of vaccines appropriate for her age, her spay, the collar she’s wearing, her transport to DC and her care in her foster home.
