Female Cat, Domestic Short Hair
Domestic Short Hair (Short Coat)
Description:
Little Pumpkin at a glance! Female (will be spayed prior to adoption) 2 months old Domestic short-hair 2 lbs. At risk of being dumped at 5 weeks old by a finder who claims they were born under his deck, Pumpkin’s foster family swooped in to save the mama cat and 8 kittens. They have been in foster since 5 weeks old and living in a "kitten room" (aka Kitten Disney World) while getting lots of exposure to visitors of all ages during the week/weekend! Pumpkin is not shy, but she's introverted. She is friendly but she never demands to be the center of attention. She is very low key and sweet. She has been handled and is learning not to play with cords and other toy-like household items. Her foster family thinks Pumpkin would thrive being adopted as a pair with Cheerio. She has been a mama’s girl and always snuggles with mom and mimics mom's behavior, she is confident but really loves companionship. She is a nurturer and likes to clean the other kittens after they have eaten. Pumpkin is confident in her own adventures around Kitten Disney World, but still looks to mom for guidance on how to be the best cat ever! Pumpkin can be found snuggling with mom or a pile of her siblings, or playing with toy a that everyone else has become bored with. She isn't greedy, and she doesn't hog toys. Pumpkin's dream day: after a comfy night snoozing in her bed, she wakes up with the soft purrs of a cuddle buddy. Together they trot to breakfast then take turns cleaning one another's face. Pumpkin might venture into her pup up tunnel and bat around the dangling pieces, or take turns with a sibling hitting balls back and forth in the swirly ball tower. Following play, Pumpkin will look for a sunshine spot to snuggle up with a fellow kitten and drift off for a mid-day nap. Post-dinner, Pumpkin makes her rounds ensuring everyone's face is clean and settles in to snuggle puddle with the rest of the kittens. Pumpkin is the most strikingly beautiful of her litter as her fur mimics that of warm, soft sunshine. If peace, love, and happiness could be bottled up in a kitten, it would be Pumpkin!
