Female Cat, Domestic Short Hair
Domestic Short Hair (Medium Coat)
Description:
Lupita is a gorgeous brown tabby cat who is on-site and available for adoption at the shelter. She is a shy girl who has been through a lot in her short 1 year of life, but she is slowly learning to trust and enjoys gentle pets in her safe space. We know she can blossom if given the chance by an adopter! She would benefit from a quieter home, and likely no small children. She has lived with many cats previously and would love to have a confident feline friend in her new home to help show her the ropes.Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 822. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday. Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 21 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
