MEET playful Ali!!This little lady is a doll who loves pets and just being around people. If you sit down she jump will jump onto your lap and she LOVES to play with just about anything although she is especially fond of her wand toy. As a kitten, she tested positive FIV, an contagious virus, on a screening test done here. While FIV is primarily spread via bite wounds between cats, FIV antibodies can be passively transferred to kittens that nurse on naturally infected or vaccinated queens, which can cause them to test positive for FIV when they are less than six months of age. Generally, most kittens under six months of age that test positive for FIV initially will test negative when their maternal antibodies have waned, therefore, we recommend retesting this kitten with a reliable PCR assay at your veterinarian to clarify their status at six months of age.
