Description:
MEET ATTICUS! Watch His Video!Atticusâs has a sad story. He was abandoned in his home and discovered when the new owners moved in. This handsome and sensitive guy has undergone a lot of upsetting changes. This sensitive guy needs stability and a routine and will need to set the pace as to his comfort level. The good news is that Atticus is now coming out of his shell and learning to trust again. A very slow approach is still needed, but heâs now gaining confidence through training with treats and some play time. Given his background, we think Atticus needs a quiet, adult-only home with one or two, patient, cat-experienced people who can set him up in a room of his own for a period of time. Atticus did live with another cat but they were not the greatest fit. However, another mellow, beta-personality cat might help him provided proper and very slow introductions are made. For more on Atticus, please come to Boston to have a discussion with an adoption specialist. Please note, Atticus will require multiple meets before going home. Also, the video of Atticus with a volunteer he knows quite well shows his potential in a new home and your visit with him could be hands off. Atticus is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been neutered, microchipped and been seen by our vet team. For more information on Atticus or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.
