Domestic Short Hair (Medium Coat)
Description:
Momoa is a 3 year old cat who recently came to us on a transport. Momoa has a regressive case of FeLV â or Feline Leukemia Virus â which means that the virus is present, but controlled by the immune system and so not currently developing any symptoms. For cats that have regressive FeLV, regular appointments with a vet will be important so as to monitor his infection status. Despite his diagnosis, he can be social and affectionate with those he knows, once he is comfortable in his new space. Momoa does find transitions and new environments quite stressful, so he is looking for a patient home that will give her all the time and space she needs to settle in. Momoa would need to be the only cat in the household, or have feline friends that also have FeLV. If you think this cat could be a good match for your home and would like to learn more, stop by our Cape Cod Adoption Center. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 1pm-4pm - no appointment or application needed. You are welcome to enter our cat rooms during open hours.
