Male Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

Meet Braveheart! This cutie is about 1 year old. He is about 10 pounds. He is shy at first, but once he finds his courage, he is such a sweet boy. He loves to make biscuits and he purrs while he is making them! He's a very handsome and soft boy too. Braveheart was in a home with other cats and did well with them. Braveheart is currently being treated for hookworms. Hookworms are a fecal parasite that are contagious to other animals and to people (in rare cases) through ingestion (eating) the contaminated feces. We recommend keeping his litter box clean and making sure his paws are clean of fecal material to prevent re-infection (him licking his paws free of fecal material) until a fecal recheck can be done to make sure the hookworms are all gone. The $85.00 adoption fee ( payable by cash or check only ) includes: spay/neuter; vaccinations; microchip; fecal testing w/ giardia, flea prevention, and FIV/FeLV and heartworm testing. Our adoption application may be found by going to: www.headinhomerescue.org; then click on the link to the adoption application. Cats for adoption may be seen by appointment only following an approved application. Please note: while we welcome out of state applications, we do not ship our animals and require adopters to come to Holland to finalize any adoption.
