Male Cat, Tabby
Tabby / Domestic Short Hair (Long Coat)
Description:
Henderson is very shy/semi-feral and he did have a genetic issue with his paws so he needed to be front declawed to alleviate his pain. He came to us when a concerned mail worker contacted FOCA when they found a Monroe County residence with an overwhelming number of cats. Our volunteers surveyed the area and then reached out to the property owner so we could give the cats a better life. There are 33 cats we rescued from a single location downtown with some kitties who are very friendly and others semi feral and feral. They include Hermes, Hickory, Hunk, Harlo, Horace, Hathorne, Hawk, Hale, Harvey, Huck; Hairy, Henderson, Hadley, Hendrix, Habanero, Houston, Havana, Honor, Howie, Henry, Holt, Hudson, Hayzel, Hattie, Haleigh, Billy, Tiny Tot, Emily, Smoke, Storm, Sunshine, Maddie, Tiger Sox and Amelia. Friendly cats will be placed into our adoption program while the more feral felines will be a part of our barn cats program. You can learn more about our rescue on our website friendsofcompanionanimal.org or by visiting the shelter during our open hours.
