dob 2/13/22 Heart came to TC Paw when her owner was evicted, leaving multiple cats behind. With assistance from Animal Control, we took several, and placed them in foster homes. It was near Valentine's Day, and she has a heart shaped mark on her nose; hence the name Heart for this pretty alpha female with a take charge personality who made herself right at home. She's very inquisitive, exploring high and low, and following her foster family around observing their actions. She likes to play and interact. Heart has brought a toy in her mouth a couple of times to her foster while making short, sweet meows. While she gets along with the other foster cats in the house, Heart can be a little possessive of her humans, sometimes hissing at the other cats getting attention. She wants it all. She likes to be brushed. Her fur is so smooth and soft. She'll sit, lie, or even nap on your lap. She likes to look out the window at birds and cars going by, but she'll jump down if she sees people with dogs. Since she was an indoor/outdoor cat before, Heart's new family will have to be careful about open doors and windows as the weather warms up so that she doesn't get out. Heart is tidy with her food and litter box, and she uses her scratcher. She is an all-around wonderful kitty!
