dob 11/4/23 When he was rescued from a cat colony, Herb was a friendly cat we knew would do well adopted into a home. At first he, was shy and needed time to get comfortable, but he is getting more sociable. He likes pets and head scratches and is quick to purr in response but isn't crazy about being picked up. He likes to play by chasing his toy mouse around. He keeps an eye on things by watching out the front window, and he enjoys napping there as well. He's good with kids, dogs, and other pets. Herb enjoys his wet food. In his new home, Herb will need an adjustment period. The best way to do that is to start talking to him, then talk while petting him. Give Herb some time, and he will be a great cat. He will need to have his sister Peaches with him. They are very bonded. Please check Peaches' page too.
