dob 12/23/23 Nighthawk is one of the cats we call the Mancelona 9, who survived being abandoned in a filthy, unheated camper trailer without food or water. After a concerned property owner called TC Paw for help, one of our hero volunteers rescued the cats, and we placed them in foster homes just before Christmas. Initially, Nighthawk was shy and fearful, but with a little work from his foster family he has become a really charming boyfriend. He invites you to pet him by rolling on his side. He likes a head and shoulder rub and a nice long stroke all down his back and along his tail. He likes to sleep with you at night, right up against you. It feels nice. He has a manly, rumbly purr but a tiny kitten voice that sounds funny coming from a big, strong guy. He's an enthusiastic eater and a tidy litter box user. He's an energetic boy who plays hard and runs fast, and he'll do well with a playmate. We strongly suggest Dragon, the pal/brother Nighthawk came in with, who looks just like him and is similar in temperament. They like each other. Please check Nighthawk's page too.
