Zarra’s story had a sad beginning. One of our volunteers saw a post about an injured kitty. A wonderful lady was feeding two kittens after their momma was hit by a car when they were eight months old. One day she saw Zarra dragging her tail and her back leg, and it was clear that she had gotten hit by a car too (see pic). We managed to get Zarra and her brother Zelly. We took her immediately to the vet and found out she had a shattered pelvis and two broken femurs. She had to have been an excruciating pain. She has had the surgery to repair the broken bones and she is almost healed 100%! We could tell that she knew we saved her. Zarra is SO beautiful and sweet, these pictures don’t do her justice. She is super soft too. She’s never been in a home or close to people before, but she is coming along more every day. She loves being brushed more than anything! So far it looks like she will be cuddly and love her human. She probably needs a quieter household, but would do well with another kitty in the house too. She is so soft and petite. All of our cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for FIV/FELV , and up to date on vaccinations including rabies, distemper, and dewormer.
