Description:
Due to technical issues with some adoption sites, please email us directly at [email protected] to inquire about adopting or to ask questions. Please include the animal's name in the email. Mary Sanderson resides in her foster home. Please contact [email protected] for an application. Sweet and spicy! Mary can be very sweet and loving, and has the most delightful little coo in her purr. She will also scream at you if you displease her (ie., pet her belly without permission). She loves to snuggle in the bed at night. She is fascinated with the bath tub. She loves to "help" with household chores, such as making the bed and folding laundry. Mary came to us with what was suspected to be a broken front leg. That turned out to not be the case; we are not sure if she was injured in a different way or if this is congenital. The leg does not seem to bother her at all; in fact, it seems to be her dominant paw. It definitely does not slow her down in the slightest. Mary gets along with her fellow foster cats, but needs a lot of time to get used to anyone she doesn't already know. She seems to dislike male cats. Therefore, she may be best as the queen of her castle. **All Shelter to Home animals are fully vetted per their age. We believe in pediatric spay and neuter. All animals will be spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV or heartworm, given age-appropriate boosters and rabies, dewormed, flea treated, and anything extra that is needed to give this animal a wonderful forever life in a permanent home. Adoption fees are usually $50 for cats and between $150-$250 for dogs, unless the pet is sponsored or we are running a promotion. Please visit our website at sheltertohome.com for information on our adoption process.**
