Blackie was rescued from the Austin City Pound on 12/21/24 when his time there had expired and he was due to be euthanized. When we took Blackie to the vet on 12/26 for his neuter, it was discovered that he had a pretty big wound on his back hip--most likely from being bit by another cat. His wound was cared for and is healing great. Blackie is a friendly guy who is now neutered and current on shots. He has tested neg for feline leukemia/FIV. Adoption fee is $80 to an indoor only home. You must be 21 to adopt from MCHS and a pet carrier is required at the time of adoption.
